Salary:  €65,000 - €70,000 per annum

Operation Smile Ireland is at a pivotal point in its Irish journey with the impending retirement of the current CEO and a new 10-year strategy being formed.  An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the organisation as its new Country Director, to lead the organisation as it celebrates its 20th Anniversary year and beyond.  

About the role

The Country Director is the most senior role at Operation Smile Ireland and will be responsible for the strategic development, vision and direction of the charity, overall business and financial practice of the organisation, management and staffing, fundraising, relationship management and promotion.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Operation Smile Ireland board, staff and partners to:

• Increase Operation Smile Ireland's profile and fundraising capacity.
• Better position Operation Smile Ireland across the country through advocacy/medical diplomacy as a global healthcare charity. 
• Support the global programmes of Operation Smile with volunteers and funding to reach even more children in desperate need of cleft surgeries.
