Salary:  €50,000 - €60,000, depending on experience

Type:  An initial 1-year contract – with a view to extension as part of the long-term strategic plan

Location:  Breakthrough Cancer Research's head office is in Cork City, but as this is a nationally focussed role, open to a hybrid role, and committed to agreed regular visits to the head office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Breakthrough Cancer Research is delighted to announce that due to its continued growth and expansion, they are now recruiting a motivated and ambitious Corporate and Partnerships Manager to join their dedicated team. 

Corporate Partnerships has become an area of increasing growth for Breakthrough Cancer Research in recent years and amounts to nearly one-third of their annual income. As a result, with their ambitious plans for future development, they are delighted to expand their team to work closely with and nurture existing relationships with their partners while strategically developing opportunities for new partnerships with corporate and philanthropic organisations or individuals. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to: 

• Engage with and steward existing corporate partners and funders to deepen their relationship with Breakthrough Cancer Research providing excellent account management and communications.
• Identify and engage with potential new corporate partners and supporters through research, and networking. 
• Lead, develop and implement highly effective Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy relationships to achieve agreed income targets within agreed expenditure limits, to provide Breakthrough Cancer Research with income to fund more cancer research programmes in Ireland.
• Effectively manage budgets, financial resources, and ROI to ensure targets are met.
• Feed into budget forecasting and operational planning and reviews quarterly and annually.
